The World’s Largest Spruce Tree

…..is said to be about 1000 years old, and resides in the Rainforest (yes, rainforest!) of Lake Quinault, Washington. My brother and I took a trip out there to marvel, during one of it’s rare dry & sunny days. The trees are watered quite well, with rainfall averaging at 12 feet per year.
Pictures don’t really do it justice, you kinda have to be there in person to appreciate it. But, being from the East Coast, I am still in awe of the diversity and magnitude of the trees out here, so I wanted photos anyways. I felt like I was in the midst of some sort of sacred dinosaur and have yet to see the giant Redwoods, so I can only imagine…..
