Last Dinner in Washington

Well, gotta travel on. I have decided to continue on with my explorations of the country, and for my last supper Gabe and Katie made it a special one… They picked up a couple enormous live Dungeoness crabs from their local Asian fish market, in South Tacoma. We boiled them for 15 minutes, and served them with a little hot garlic butter for dipping. Probably one of the most simple and satisfying meals one can possibly have. Having caught and eaten fresh crab, which is abundant off the Washington and Oregon coasts, has certainly opened my eyes to what seafood is supposed to be. Fresh, sweet, delicious, and full of nutrients to give me power for the long journey ahead.
